Luping (Nicole) Peng leads research and analysis for Canalys’ portfolio of mobility-focused advisory services in China and oversees worldwide quantitative research for Canalys’ leading Smart Phone Analysis services. She is responsible for coordinating EMEA and worldwide market forecasts, which cover phone hardware shipments and operating system installed bases. She also plays an instrumental role in creating global forecasts for mobile applications and services. She contributes to a variety of consulting projects, with recent projects covering end-user demand for mobile services and technologies, product planning and segmentation, and go-to-market strategies.
Prior to joining Canalys in 2007, Nicole obtained a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from Nottingham University Business School. As part of her degree, she conducted research projects in a variety of business segments and developed business plans for new product commercialization. Nicole also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from the University of Westminster.
Nicole is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
