Associate Consultant - EMEA

The role

Canalys has an opening for consultants to work on an associate basis, within its fast growing consulting department.

The role of the associate consultant is to identify and lead consulting and bespoke research projects. Canalys is particularly seeking consultants with expertise in the enterprise channels and go to market channel management, either within the vendor or channel community. The associate consultant will join a team of highly motivated, experienced consultants and analysts and will be expected to quickly demonstrate their knowledge and opinions of the issues which face that particular client.

Associate consultants are expected to show sensitivity to the issues faced and contribute ideas and advice to senior decision makers. The role is suitable for someone with direct experience of channel management, strategic marketing or business planning. The role is offered on a freelance basis.

Skills required

The individual must be able to work well in a team, but also show initiative and contribute and promote their own ideas and opinions. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years senior management experience within global IT and telecoms vendors or within large channel companies. They will be confident, and very comfortable communicating to senior clients over the telephone, face-to-face and in writing.
