Adrian Drozd
Senior Analyst
Adrian Drozd joined Canalys in February 2007. His primary
responsibility is running the Digital Entertainment Analysis
advisory service, focusing on EMEA’s consumer technology and content
delivery markets. In this role he regularly tracks and analyses
areas including digital television, digital content distribution,
home networking and gaming. In addition, Adrian covers the emerging
IPTV market and adds his experience to Canalys’ IPTV Analysis
service. He also contributes to bespoke consultancy projects and
provides clients with expert advice and analysis regarding trends in
the consumer media space. Adrian is regularly quoted in the business
and technology press.
Prior to joining Canalys, Adrian worked for seven years as an
analyst at Datamonitor, where he was responsible for running the
firm’s media and broadcasting practice area. During this time, he
developed strong relationships with both European media firms and
technology vendors targeting opportunities across the sector.
Adrian graduated from the University of Exeter with an honours
degree in Geography.
