Allan Diaz

Research Analyst

Allan joined Canalys in August 2007. Based in Singapore, his work is focused on the rapidly expanding Enterprise Networking market. His principal role is to provide research and support, which includes quarterly tracking of networking equipment shipments in Asia Pacific.

Allan started his career as an analyst for IDC in the Philippines. He was involved in several technology areas, including IT services, consulting and telecommunications. During this time, he developed strong relationships with technology vendors as well as the local IT press.

He later joined Comnet to provide research support to its subsidiary IT companies. He was responsible for nationwide studies on a variety of topics, ranging from online gaming to satellite Internet vehicle tracking systems to broadcasting.

Allan graduated from the University of the Philippines where he obtained a bachelors degree in Communication Research.
