Tim Shepherd

Analyst

Tim Shepherd joined Canalys’ mobile team as a Research Analyst in November 2006. His role involves research and analysis for the company’s worldwide portfolio of mobility-focused vendor advisory services. This includes the quarterly tracking of smart mobile device and mobile navigation solution shipments in EMEA and the Americas. He also contributes to a variety of confidential consultancy projects.

Tim is particularly focused on the smart mobile device space and the rapidly growing market for GPS navigation and location-based services on mobile devices. He is also involved with Canalys’ consumer and business mobility research.

Prior to joining Canalys, Tim graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA Honours Degree in Modern History as an Edwin Jones Scholar of Jesus College.
