Thomas Evans researches the fast-growing pad market and its impact on the PC industry. This encompasses the effect on notebook and netbook shipments, analysis of routes to market – including the role of service providers – pricing, product launches and operating system evolution. In addition to conducting research into the PC industry, Thomas provides insight into server vendor performance for Canalys’ Data Center Analysis Service.
Prior to joining Canalys in 2011, Thomas worked for Yell Group, where he was responsible for managing online pay-per-click campaigns, conducting analysis of data and quarterly reporting.
Thomas graduated from the University of Southampton with an Honors Degree in Physics with Astronomy.
