Enterprise Research Analyst

Canalys is looking for a Research Analyst to help support its fast-growing and highly respected worldwide enterprise services department.

The Research Analyst will work in the IT Security team analyzing technology and routes-to-market trends. The role will include face-to-face and desk research and analysis in these areas for quarterly market data, forecasts, written reports, and presentations, as well as in response to client enquiries.

Skills required

The role would suit a recent graduate (Bachelor’s minimum), or a graduate with a year or two’s experience looking to progress in a fast-moving organization. The ideal candidate must be able to show initiative and contribute and promote their own ideas and opinions, as well as being very capable of working within a global virtual team environment. An interest and knowledge of technology is a prerequisite.

The individual will be confident and very comfortable communicating to senior clients over the telephone, face-to-face and in writing. Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word, are essential. Knowledge of a foreign language would be an advantage. The Research Analyst will further be expected to show flexibility and be culturally aware.
