Pete Cunningham

Senior Analyst

Pete Cunningham joined Canalys in May 2006. His responsibilities include contributing analysis to the company’s market-leading Smart Mobile Device Analysis family of services as well as providing clients with confidential advice on bringing new mobile devices and services to market, and how hardware and software vendors and operators should engage with each other.

Prior to joining Canalys, Pete was Head of Product Marketing for Panasonic Mobile with responsibility for Panasonic’s European Product roadmap. During this time Pete developed outstanding relationships’ with the major network operators across Europe and established a strong reputation for having an excellent understanding of European market requirements. Pete brings to Canalys invaluable understanding of how handset manufacturers interface with European operators as well as in-depth expertise of emerging mobile technologies.

Pete holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electronic Engineering.
