The Canalys Forums are the most influential, highest quality independent events in APAC and EMEA. In 2022, the events reached record numbers of attendees. The two-day conference in EMEA kicked off in October 2022 at the W Hotel, Barcelona, marking its fifteenth anniversary. The tenth edition of the APAC event was celebrated in November 2022 at the Shangri-La Orchard, Singapore. Both conferences were exceptional in attracting senior executives in-person and virtual attendees representing the most important IT distributors, channel partners and vendors. The Canalys Forums brought together key partners in a single location with well over 2,250 delegates, including hybrid attendees, setting a record.

The events were powered by Canapii, an event management platform developed using over a decade of Canalys’ world-leading in-house digital and events expertise. The refreshed fast-paced sessions included physical and virtual interviews with the CEOs of channel partners and distributors, and the leaders of vendor sponsors. Attendees could access content on-demand during and after the conference and schedule meetings via Canapii. Over 2,000 discussions took place via the platform, using its integrated networking, planning and video tools.

“We’re proud to be celebrating the long-term success of the Canalys Forums. In 2022, we brought together senior decision-makers to help inspire planning and channels sales growth. Our event platform capabilities meant we could host our biggest hybrid event in what has been an extraordinarily challenging environment for events,” said Gemma Edwards, VP, Events. “We are extremely pleased to have our distributor sponsors supporting the event, hand in hand with the global IT companies that lead the way in their commitment to channel partners in the region. Thanks to all who have come together to meet and plan for future success. As promised, we will return for the Canalys Forums 2023 in Barcelona for the EMEA conference, and Bangkok for APAC, in December.”
